SERIES: Stylized Motives
Stylized Motives is a series in which I explore themes of nature and science through geometric shapes, pattern, and color. I began the series after joining the Modern Quilt Guild, where I became inspired to move beyond traditional quilt making and create large-scale geometric compositions intended as both functional quilts and works of art.
The series reflects my fascination with the patterns, structures, and energy found in the natural world. I use bold geometric forms and intense, saturated colors to create visual movement and energy within each composition. The resulting pieces have a graphic quality that invites the viewer to experience color, shape, and pattern as both structure and expression.
